Bangor, ME (April 25, 2023): Bangor Savings Bank is expanding its footprint by opening a full-service branch in Bar Harbor, Maine on May 1. This continues the Bank’s commitment to serving its customers and communities. The Bar Harbor branch is the Bank’s 68
th branch in Northern New England and its fourth location in Hancock County.
Located at 112 Cottage Street, the branch is conveniently positioned for those traveling on the main roads leading in and out of Bar Harbor and will serve as a touchpoint for downtown businesses and residents. A central spot will allow community members to efficiently handle their banking needs where and when they need access. Among many financial services offerings, the branch will include mortgage and business partner offices, a coin counter, ATM, and personal and business banking.
“We are thrilled to join the one-of-a-kind, celebrated community of Bar Harbor,” said
Tricia Duchesneau, Senior Vice President, Director of Consumer Banking, Bangor Savings Bank. “Our team looks forward to welcoming customers to our new Cottage Street branch, where we will offer a full suite of banking resources for consumers and businesses of all sizes. Bangor Savings Bank is grateful to the community for welcoming us to the area and eager to begin serving customers and building new partnerships.”
With hours to best serve its customers and community, the lobby and drive-up will be open Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Recognizing the seasonal vibrancy of the area during the tourist season from May 1 through October 31, the lobby and drive-up will be open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
