Bangor, ME – Bangor Savings Bank is pleased to announce two leadership changes:
Laura Johnson has joined Bangor Savings Bank as Senior Vice President, Director of Mortgage and Consumer Lending and
Tricia Duchesneau has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Director of Consumer Banking. Tricia and Laura will also both serve on Bangor Savings Bank’s Leadership Committee. As well-respected leaders in the financial services industry, they bring extensive customer service experience, thought leadership, and dedication to their communities.
Laura brings a wealth of industry knowledge to her new leadership position with Bangor Savings Bank. She has been a financial services leader for over 30 years, including 20 years of successful Residential and Consumer lending throughout New England. She was previously employed at HarborOne Bank and Centreville Bank where she managed strategy and direction for the Residential and Consumer Lending programs. Prior to that, Laura directed lending operations and secondary teams at Rockland Trust. A graduate of Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts, Laura earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations.
Tricia has been employed with Bangor Savings Bank for nearly 16 years leading branch teams across the state. She most recently served as Regional Market Manager, in southern Maine. Tricia has been an instrumental leader in the Bank’s strategic growth and expansion, having led multiple teams through new branch openings and ongoing community engagement. She has been a key contributor in developing the Bank’s customer-centric culture and in product development, such as the ABLE account. Prior to joining Bangor Savings Bank, Tricia spent 15 years at Key Bank, leading multiple teams in the greater Portland region.

Both Laura and Tricia have deep roots in Northern New England and within their local communities. Tricia, a Windham, Maine resident, participates in several Bank-wide initiatives focused on culture, customer experience and diversity, equity, and inclusion, having served as a Green Dot program facilitator. She is a former board member of the Intercultural Community Center in Westbrook, Maine, continues to serve as a United Way Ambassador, and volunteers with several non-profit organizations.
Laura resides in Norwood, Massachusetts, and she is an 11
th generation of the Gordon family of Skowhegan, Maine. She is a graduate of Oak Grove-Coburn High School in Vassalboro, Maine, and began her financial services career in Portland. Laura and her family frequently visit the lakes and mountains of New Hampshire and Maine and are thrilled about the opportunity to move further north.
