Bangor, ME (April 5, 2023): For the eighth time in the last nine years, Bangor Savings Bank has received the highest score in the New England Region in the J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Retail Banking Satisfaction Study of customers’ satisfaction with their primary bank.
Customers rated Bangor Savings Bank as First for Customer Satisfaction with Retail Banking in the New England Region and #1 in all study factors including: Trust; People (Employees); Account offerings; Allowing customer to bank how and when they want (Convenience); Resolving problems or complaints (Problem Resolution); Digital Channels and customers rated Bangor Savings highest for saving time and money (Value).

The J.D. Power U.S. Retail Banking Satisfaction Study measures customer satisfaction across these factors: trust, people, account offerings, convenience, value, digital channels, and problem resolution.
The 2023 study fielded responses from 101,440 retail bank customers of the largest banks in the United States regarding their experiences with their retail banks. J.D. Power surveyed customers from January 2022 through January 2023. National banks are defined as banks with more than $300 billion in domestic deposits, regional banks with $65 billion-$299 billion in domestic deposits, and midsize banks with 45-100 national branches and at least 20 branches within a respective region.
