No. Bangor Savings Bank Visa Check Card and ATM-only card holders can use any ATM in the world, and Bangor Savings Bank will not charge a fee, and will refund all fees charged by another bank- foreign or domestic.
How much can a BSB customer expect to save when they use another banks ATM with their No ATM Fees Anywhere Check Card?
Fees can vary from bank to bank but a customer will usually save around $3.50. Typically a foreign (non Bangor Savings Bank) ATM fee is $2.00 and a foreign ATM transaction fee is $1.50.

I am a Bangor Savings Bank savings customer. Will my ATM-only card work?
In a word, yes. Bangor Savings Bank will not charge any fee for using its ATMs, and will refund any charge incurred for using another banks' ATM.
There will be no ATM usage fees assessed when using an ATM operated by Bangor Savings Bank or any other bank or financial institution in the United States. Accept all fees when you use another bank's ATM and we'll refund the charges within three business days.
International ATM Usage fees: When you process an international ATM transaction and the fee is presented separately, we will refund ATM usage fees assessed within three business days. If a separate ATM usage fee is not presented, we will automatically rebate $3.00 for each international ATM transaction. If the ATM usage fee you pay is more then $3.00, you may bring the ATM receipt with the fee documented to the Bank within 90 days of the transaction, and the additional amount will be rebated.
